Our Programs & Services
The PRESS Foundation Transitional Living Program (TLP)
Our primary active initiative is a structured, highly supportive, home-like transitional housing environment designed for young adults (ages 18–21) navigating the critical leap from the foster care system into independent living.
Operating with a maximum census of six participants at a time, our TLP ensures every resident receives concentrated, intimate, and intentional care. Our core program focuses heavily on:
Individualized Case Management: Consistent monitoring, resource coordination, and transition planning tailored specifically to individual strengths and preferences.
Comprehensive Life Skills: A robust hands-on curriculum spanning personal budgeting, grocery shopping, household management, cooking, nutrition, and home maintenance.
Economic Self-Sufficiency: Career and educational guidance, including school enrollment, resume writing, mock interviewing, and job placement assistance.
Housing Readiness: Comprehensive preparation for permanent housing, covering tenant rights, lease reviews, rental applications, and independent apartment searches.
Health & Wellness Navigation: Direct linkage to dental, medical, behavioral-health resources, and self-advocacy development.
The Full-Circle Vision (Coming Soon)
As our organization expands, our long-term blueprint aims to meet individuals with dignity at every single stage of life:
Early Childhood: High-quality childcare and nurturing development environments.
Adult Reentry: Supportive housing and practical resource navigation for justice-involved adult men seeking a second chance to rebuild their lives.
Older Adults: Dignified, clean, and comfortable residential services focused on bringing safety, peace, and compassionate care to seniors and their families.
